Geraldo's Partner Story

Geraldo Luis Da Silvia is known by the nickname “Soró” in the coffee world and is a third generation coffee producer who lives and works at the Sitio Cachoeirinha farm along with his father and brother. Soró’s grandfather was the original founder of the farm while Soró’s father, at 85 years of age, still sits at the veranda and supervises the drying terraces during the harvest.

The family’s farm is located in the interior of São Paulo’s Mogiana region of Brazil in the Divinolândia municipality. The area is a traditional enclave of good quality Brazilian coffee as it sits on the western side of the Mantiqueira mountain range and offers good elevation, excellent soil and ideal climate conditions.
